I was born in march 15-th, 1978 in Palermo, Sicily
(the very deep heart of the Mediterranean Sea).
After graduating from Nautical College I decided not to become a professional seafarer but simply to begin traveling. I later took a degree in Political Sciences in Milan and a second degree in Social Anthropology in Rome.
Among other places, I have lived in Cairo and in Glasgow; and for the last seven years I have been living in Moscow, where I hold photography courses and organize photography trips.
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life:
the longing for love, the search for knowledge,
and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
Knowing too, and also learning and also proving that
no hells exists that are not inhabited by men seeking happiness.
